Olive & Belle – Booking Terms

 

These booking terms are designed to make sure everything runs smoothly and expectations are clear for both parties. By paying a deposit, you confirm acceptance of the following terms.

 

1. Bookings and Payment

 

A non-refundable deposit of 25 percent of the final balance is required to secure your event date. The remaining balance is due one week prior to the event date. Deposits are non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances, Olive & Belle may, at their discretion, offer a transfer or alternative arrangement, but this is not guaranteed.

 

2. Service Provided

 

Olive & Belle provides the preparation, delivery, set-up and styling of grazing tables, boards or catering items as agreed at the time of booking. Unless explicitly agreed in advance, the service is set-up only. Clear-away is not included.

 

3. Clear-Away

 

Responsibility for clearing the grazing table after service rests with the client unless a clear-away service has been booked in advance for an additional fee. Venue policies regarding staff availability or clear-away are outside of Olive & Belle’s control. Clients are responsible for ensuring someone is available to clear the table once guests have finished eating. 

 

4. Food Consumption and Safety

 

Grazing food is intended to be consumed within four hours of set-up. Once the food has been set up, responsibility for food safety passes to the client. Olive & Belle cannot take responsibility for food consumed outside this recommended time frame or for food left unattended.

 

5. Allergens and Dietary Requirements

 

Olive & Belle takes allergens and dietary requirements seriously and will make every reasonable effort to accommodate requests when notified in advance. Food is prepared in a kitchen that handles all major allergens. While care is taken to minimise risk, zero cross-contamination cannot be guaranteed. Traces of allergens may be present. Clients are responsible for informing their guests accordingly.

 

6. Final Details and Changes

 

Final guest numbers, dietary requirements and event details must be confirmed by the client no later than one week before the event. Late changes may not be possible and may incur additional charges.

Olive & Belle is not responsible for delays caused by venue schedules, speeches or changes to the event timeline.

 

7. Hire Items and Equipment

 

Where hire items are included as part of a booking, these remain the property of Olive & Belle. Hire items must be returned within seven days of the event unless otherwise agreed. The client is responsible for any loss or damage to hired items, and costs for repair or replacement may be charged accordingly.
